On Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Survived by her loving husband, Vincent; her children, Bianca and Vincent, III; her mother, Angela McCall; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Flythe will lie in state at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 206 New York Ave., NW, on Wednesday, February 20 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Services by STEWART.

My Beautiful lil cousin, I said goodbye to you less then an hour ago. As I sit here at my desk I can see lil Vincent's face it is your face I watched as he and Bianca sat at his side while all the people who love you and the family so very much walked up and hugged them. I really did not know Roquel a long time but for the short time I know she was a great friend. I would like to tell her family it is going to be ok and she would want everyone to continue there normal routine. Such a beautiful Soul. I remember the first day that she can to work with the VAMC. She was indeed a firecracker. She grew up to be a very special and beautiful young lady. She was one of my dear employees that I really loved. Her husband also an ex-employee of mine that I also have high regards for. When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still.What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we do not understand Rocky why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you passed on, but that you lived.
