Russell Petsche Obituary

Russell Petsche passed away on June 17, 2024. Born in Annapolis, MD on May 8,1980, Russell is survived by his father, Charles "Bill" Petsche, mother, Diane Petsche and his son, Luke Petsche, all of Arnold, MD. He is also survived by his two sisters Erica Petsche of Annapolis, MD and Danielle Petsche Boulay of Stevensville, MD.

Russell was a First Team All-Anne Arundel County lacrosse standout at Broadneck High School where he graduated in 1998. Russell also attended Anne Arundel Community College where he also played lacrosse, earning honors as an Academic All American. Russell went on to attend The Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and International Business. He studied abroad in Rome and traveled extensively throughout Europe. After college, Russell worked in the financial industry including Morgan Stanley and the Private Wealth division of Bank America, Baltimore, MD. Prior to his passing, Russell was pursuing a Master's Degree in Data Analytics.

He lived life to its fullest and those who knew Russell enjoyed his dry wit and entertaining sense of humor. He loved all things Penn State, was an avid student of history and economics, enjoyed working out and, more than anything, loved his son Luke. Russell will be greatly missed.
