I knew Sean at Fort Lewis, we were in the same company and platoon, he and Jeff Hickson helped me find an apartment off post, which he subsequently came to more than a few times. He sent me a T-shirt from West Point, and invited me to his graduation. I was rocked when I found out he was no longer with us. I will never forget him.

I was in Sean’s company in Fort Lewis. Although I didn’t know Sean that well, I remember him being a good person with a good head on his shoulders. He was always trying to better himself and those around him. Just from talking to him you could tell that he was destined for bigger and better things. I am sure he lived a great life and had no regrets. My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to Sean's family, friends and loved ones. Sean…You will be missed. Peace be with you brother.

I want to send my prayers to Sean's Family.Sean was my soldier at one time, while we were stationed at Fort Lewis Washington. He was a Specialist and I was a Sergeant at the time.I took Sean to see his favorite band Fear Factory, his first concert in Seattle. We had a blast and we kept in touch after he went to West Point. After he graduated I ran into him again when I was in BNOC (Basic Non-Commisioned Officer Course). It was really good to see him again. We exchanged numbers and he invited me to his apartment to meet his wife and have dinner with them.I will never forget Sean.He was a great soldier, and fearless man,and a great human being.I will surely miss him.And God is getting a beautiful person.

"I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine," He said.
"For you to love the while he lives and mourn when he is dead,
"It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
"But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
"He'll bring his charms to gladden you, but should his stay be brief,
"You'll have his lovely memories, as solace for your grief,
"I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return,
"But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn

Amanda & Family: I'm so sorry for your loss, especially the loss of someone so young and vital. Although I didn't know your brother, I feel connected to him due to my life as an Army daughter and former Army spouse. His service to America is appreciated and his loss is mourned. May God grant you comfort and strength as you move forward without him.

May the comforting thought from the Bible book of Revelation, the 21st chapter, verse 4 be of comfort to you. It reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Psalm 46:9 offers hope as well "He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth. The bow he breaks apart and does cut the spear in pieces; The wagons he burns in the fire." I offer my sincere condolences to you all.

Sean was a man in every sense of the word. As my team leader at West Point, he mentored me, not only about the Army, but about life. It was truely a blessing to have known him even for such a short time. Words cannot convey my distress on hearing of his passing. Sean may be gone, but his memory will live on. Sean, I know you will always be with me, helping me through the tough times and sharing a laugh when I need one. I love you man.
