SHERRIE WILLS
Sherrie Wills, 53, passed peacefully on the morning of Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home in Studio City, California after a long battle with early-onset dementia. Sherrie was born in Washington, DC. She split her childhood years between Annandale and Los Angeles where she started a career as an actress. After graduating from Annandale High School in 1985, Sherrie moved to Los Angeles where she received her BFA from USC and continued her acting career. Those who knew Sherrie will remember her for her dedication to the craft of acting, her tremendous energy, her passion for animals, and her great laugh. Sherrie is survived by her cousins Gordon and Regina Wills, and her partner, Mark Kassai, who stood by her during her seven-year struggle with dementia. In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to The California Wildlife Center (https://cawildlife.org/) which is one of Sherrie's favorite animal charities. Sherrie is with the angels as she was a beautiful Angel on earth. My sweet stage daughter in "Cycles" I always thought of you over the years and hoped and prayed you would be happy. We both adored all animals. God bless you always. I am sure you are at peace with God and Charlie.

My heart goes out to Sherrie´s family. What a vibrant and beautiful person! I met Sherrie in middle school and then our paths crossed again after high school. I´ll never forget hanging out at her house and her amazing wardrobe! She will be missed.

I just watched an old episode of Wonder Woman in which Sherrie played a part. She looked to be about 12 or 13 but already she was a good actress. Sad to hear she died so young. She sounded like a sweet and beautiful person. RIP.

Sherrie and I were friends and classmates at Annandale High School. She knew my family and I knew hers and had many wonderful times together. I will remember her warm smile, intelligence, great laugh, love for acting and animals. She was a very good human being and will be greatly missed.

My sister, Diane Newberry Lott, was a close friend of Sherrie in Annandale VA. I would drive Sherrie and Diane around sometimes. Sorry to hear of this tragic ending. She led a good life
