Amy Elizabeth Ellis passed away on August 3, 2023, in Thousand Oaks. She was born on November 15, 1968 in Burbank California to Robert Martin Ellis and Dale Dennis Ellis. Amy is survived by her mother, Dale Dennis Ellis, her sister Laura Suzanne Ellis, and her brother Bret Easton Ellis. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Martin Ellis.
Amy's educational journey began at The Buckley School and Our Lady of Corvallis for her primary and high school education, respectively. She graduated from Cal Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication.
After college, Amy embarked on a career in the entertainment field as an agent. However, her interests in writing and astrology eventually took center stage. In 1998, she created her own website, where she wrote daily about astrology and provided personal astrology reports for many of her clients. Amy's astrology articles were published in various publications, and she became a sought-after guest on podcasts, sharing her insights on how planetary placements at the time and place of birth can influence one's life path. Amy's dedication to astrology and writing continued until her untimely passing.

I'm so sad to hear the news about Amy's passing. I knew her very well during our high school years and she had such an impact on my youth riding around the valley, hitting up the Galleria, Phases night club, parties, In-N-Out Burger, etc. I never spoke to her after high school but thought a lot about her over the years. Just did a search and discovered the terrible news. RIP Amy

My heart is broken by the loss of one of my dearest friends in life, Amy Ellis. Amy was a bright spot in this dim world and her absence will be felt by those closest to her. I attended Corvallis with Amy. We couldn't be more different -- and yet we always found so much to yack about! She was a straight shooter and a natural born comedienne who made everyone at school laugh out loud on the regular. Sending love and sincere condolences to the Ellis family.
