Steve and my late husband Roy Stewart worked at the FCC together until Steve's retirement. Steve remained a good friend to Roy, until Roy passed away a few years ago, as well as to me and my now adult daughters who knew him as "Uncle Steve" who took them to the vending machines at the FCC. He was a permanent part of our Christmas Eve for dinners for many years. He was part of our family, and we will remember him fondly.

A good natured man with many friends at the FCC. Our careers there coincided. I remember seeing Stephen in front of 1919 M Street with Fred Goldsmith and Dan Ohlbaum on their way to lunch
