I recently read the Vince Fuller had passed away and am writing to express my condolences. I knew Mr. Fuller when I was a young associate at Williams & Connolly. I had also read about him when I was in college in connection with his defense of John Hinkley. While I only had a limited opportunity to work with Mr. Fuller, he was a towering figure whom I admired greatly. He was an old fashioned criminal defense attorney in the best sense of that term. Mr. Fuller believed that every defendant, no mater how disreputable, deserved the best defense possible, and that he what he provided. His model still inspires me to this day. I wish you and your family all the best.

Special love and paryers to the family of Vincent Fuller. Vince and I were especially dear friends during his high school years at Scarbroough and his early years at Williams. We lived in Yonkers and Vince often took the train from Ossining to Yonkers to spend time with me and my entire family. We all loved him. He was a smart, generous, talented and loving guy whose memory we'll all hold dear.
I am deeply saddened over the news of his passing as my late parents and late brother would be, and I send sincere love to all those whom he cherished.
