I was looking through old photos today and came across this one of Walley. We were engaged in early 70s. He called me in late 90s to tell me he had finally been diagnosed. I didn't know he had passed.

I remember Wally from GW. He was a year behind me in my brother Steve's class. Wally was a "cute guy" and very preppy as I recall. I couldn't find him in the '66 Compass but I know he was in one or more of my classes. I remember him with an impish smile and always very happy. I am impressed that he served in Vietnam. Hopefully his life was full of good times despite his life-long illness. I'm sure a lot of GW friends will remember him. He was a nice guy.
