On February 20, 2003, WARREN LASKO of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved husband of Lorraine Lasko; devoted father of Karen L. Culton and her husband, Steve of Middletown, CT and Erika L. O'Neill of Alexandria, VA; loving brother of Donald Lasko and his wife, Kate of Metuchen, NJ.; caring stepfather of Jeffrey Fein and his wife, Stephanie of Merrick, NY; cherished grandfather of three. Friends may call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. at Harrison St. N.W., Washington, DC, on Saturday, February 22 from 4 to 6 p.m., where services will be held Sunday, February 23 at 1 p.m. Interment will be held in Queens, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the HOC Community Partners, Inc., 10400 Detrick Ave., Kensington, MD 20895; J.E.D.S. To Lorraine, Erika & Karen,
Warren was my closest friend in college at Columbia. We pledged fraternity together and roomed together at AEPi during our sophmore year. He was my best man. We shared many wonderful moments (like the time when we were caught by the police when I was standing on his shoulders trying to remove the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel sign from the tunnel entrance during pledge week). Although we drifted somewhat in later years, when we got together, it was like I saw him yesterday. I will miss him; he was a wonderful human being.
