Although I never knew this courageous young man, I felt the need to let you know I am so very sorry for the loss of Officer Evans. A man who would face extraordinary circumstances, acting with courage, honor, and self sacrifice. He gave his all to protect and serve, and for that I am eternally grateful. Officer Evans is a Hero.
My prayers go out to the family and to his LEO brothers and sisters as well.
“The wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1
Thank you for your service. Rest In Peace.

Words cannot express how my heart is breaking for your family. I knew Billy through gaming at our local game store. He was a patient, welcoming competitor and was always willing to teach newbies like myself. Please accept my humble condolences on his loss, and pray you will find comfort and solace.

To Officer Evan's family, I am truly so sorry for your devastating loss. No words can take the pain away but the family will be in my constant prayers, not just for a little while but for the rest of my life, your family will be on my mind. He will not be forgotten. Your family and your pain will not be forgotten. Times like these we see what matters most to us and that is family. Wrap each other in love. One day you will smile again and your heart will feel full again. He is always by your side and so is Jesus. They will never leave you. You have a guardian angel now. I pray for you all to be comforted in knowing he is a hero, he loved and was loved back. I am thankful for the years you all got to be with him, even though he was taken sooner that you could have ever expected. He will always be here because his blood is in the veins of his children, who he would never want to be in sorrow. I know the kids will make him proud. He will always be watching over you all. Rest easy Officer and may God bless the family.
