Ever the list-builder, William C. Forma "Bill" crossed the last item off his "to-do" list when he passed away on June 2, 2021 at the age of 84.  When not playing golf, Bill enjoyed getting his hands dirty renovating his Bowie, MD home and his residential properties in Washington, DC. With over 50 years in the construction industry, he relished the details of each project including his notable contributions to his longtime employer, B.F. Saul Company. Higher education was important to Bill. In addition to supporting many family members through college, he also shared his construction expertise as an educator at Prince George's Community College. When his children were growing up, Bill volunteered his time to support their involvement in sports including as a timer on the Whitehall Swim Team, a coach of Boy's Club soccer and basketball, and periodically as a baseball umpire to keep a game from being canceled. Bill also volunteered as the Assistant Scoutmaster for his sons' Boy Scout Troop 737. Commissioned in the U.S. Navy, Bill served in the Civil Engineer Corps from 1961-1964. He graduated from Syracuse University (BS), U.S. Naval War College, and American University (MBA). Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marian, he is survived by his children Mark (Amy), Peter (Sunny), Lisa (Tony) and grandchildren: William, Ava, Anya, and Hugh as well as his brothers Robert and Steven (Caryl).  A Catholic Mass and Interment will occur on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel 16501 Annapolis Road Bowie, MD 20715.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to www.alz.org.
