Ruth:
It was an honor and a pleasure for me to serve with your loving husband in various callings for over 30 years in the D C area. I cherish those memories. By our age we know we too will depart; just don't know when. May the Lord bless and comfort you until you join with Don in due time.
Love and best wishes

Don Ladd was a good friend and brother in our service in Washington, D.C. and the Seventy Quorum. He was a diligent worker and faithful in all that he did. Ruth, Karen and I send our love and best wishes to you. Sam was a good brother. Bless you all.
