Dean, Sean and family,
I have such fond memories of your mom and especially that she had such a sense of fashion and her beautiful hair! It has been some time since we have seen you all - hope all of your are keeping well despite the sadness you are feeling about your mom´s passing.
Wishing you much peace at this time.

My company did work her yard and she was a delight. Always immaculaltely dressed and put together. She shared her history and told great stories. Mrs. Murakami always made sure I would eat right: "Eat fish 3x a week" she would encourage. She gave me a case of Japanese ramen once "This is good. You need to eat this." When she would call, she'd start off: "This is the old Japanese lady" She loved her family and showed art work in her kitchen. She'd be the first to say she was ready at the end and I am glad she is now at peace. Blessings to her and peace to her family and loved ones.

Dean, Sean and family - I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom was one of the original "Lakevale Estates" moms that helped raise us all. I´ll never forget all the rides to and from Yeonas Park, the fresh chocolate chip cookies from that thing called a toaster-oven and the Mercury-Chrome on our cuts and scrapes. "Quit being a baby" she would say after application. "It won´t sting long". She was a great lady, mom and life-long friend. Lubes.

The lovely Yuri was so good to me as all of the Murikami´s are. She was such a wonderful person and will truly be missed. She always held a special place in my heart and she will be remembered fondly.

Auntie Yuri was a trailblazer in the 1940's. She was independent, an adventurist (working in Japan and sending money to her family in Sacramento), friendly, loving, and a genuinely kind hearted person.
I will always remember our road trips to San Francisco, the summer I spent in Virginia with the Murakami family, her calls to me when I was battling a life threatening disease, (during this time she called me frequently, prayed for me daily, and sent me beautiful flower arrangements).
She always told me to eat healthy, embrace happiness, and appreciate all the sacrifices my grandparents and parents made, so that now I have an opportunity to achieve my dreams in life.
Auntie Yuri you will always live on in my heart and thank you for imparting all your wisdom with me about life...

We are so glad we had a chance to know Yuri a little bit. She loved a full life for sure. Sending love to the family during this time of loss. There is never enough time.

Dearest Dean - I don't think I ever had the pleasure of meeting your beautiful Mom but she sounds like a wonderful, happy, loving person. I'm so sorry for your loss - I'm sure she felt lucky to have such a good son in you. Love to you and your family xoxox
