1966 - 2025

Eugene Dale Corwin Jr (Ed), 59, of Hampton, Iowa. Died on December 15, 2025, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, surrounded by family.

Ed was born on March 10, 1966, in Cedar Falls to Eugene Sr and Joyce (Kepple) Corwin.

He lived most of his life North of Cedar Falls with his parents and 4 siblings, close to family and next door to his Grandmother June. In 1980, his parents moved the family to Greene, Iowa.

He was always a prankster with a contagious laugh and quick wit, always the person to try something new and bold. the first one to meet new people.

He moved around a lot when he became an adult, different states and cities, trying something new. He even spent 4 years in the US Navy as a Hull Technician. He finally found what he was looking for when he started working at John Deere in Waterloo.

He met the love of his life, Elizabeth French, with her children, Ashley, Nick, and Andy. They were married on January 1, 2004. They lived in Greene for many years and recently moved to Hampton where they enjoyed their grandchildren.

Ed became an ordained Minister on May 2, 2010. He performed the wedding ceremonies for many people including his sister, his son, and many of his nieces and a nephews. A godly and humble man, he always considering others before himself.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children, Ashley (Daniel) Gardonia, Nick (Jessica) Hurd, Andrew Corwin; and five grandchildren. His mother Joyce Corwin of Greene. His siblings, Bob (Robin) Corwin of Austin, Minn., Brian (Mary) Corwin of Dike, Trisha Roosa Corwin (Dan Benken) of Greene, and Becky Goodsell of Greene. And many Nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father Eugene Corwin Sr, and great-nephew Kaleb Roosa.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
