Born on March 11, 1942, in Oglesby, Illinois, Janet's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to teaching and a profound love for literature.
For many years, Janet poured her heart and soul into her role as an educator, most recently dedicating her talents to the Elmore County School System. Her passion for knowledge and her ability to inspire and nurture young minds left an indelible mark on her students, many of whom carry fond memories of her guidance and encouragement.
Janet was not just a teacher; she was a warm-hearted individual whose laughter and kindness touched everyone around her. She had a profound love for reading, often finding solace in the pages of her favorite books and sharing stories with friends and family. Janet was a proud member of the Eclectic Methodist Church, where her faith and community spirit flourished.
Janet is survived by her loving son, Matthew Stringer, and his wife Teresa, who were both sources of joy and pride for her. She also leaves behind a treasured brother, Jerry Zibert, and his wife Pam, who shared countless memories and moments of laughter together. She cherished her family deeply, including her niece, Lisa Zibert, and nephew, Fred Zibert, whose bonds enriched her days.
Janet's heart will forever carry the memory of her beloved husband, Walter E. Stringer, Jr., who predeceased her after 41 wonderful years together. Their love story is one for the ages, filled with beautiful moments and the kind of devotion that only grows stronger with time.
