Donna Zimmerman Obituary
Donna was born on August 11, 1939, in Watertown, the daughter of William and Sadie (Griep) Sterwald Sr. She married the love of her life Earl Zimmerman on October 19, 1963, and the couple enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Donna worked for Shopko for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Donna is survived by her husband Earl, and her sons Scott Zimmerman and Phillip (Michele) Zimmerman. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Kurt Liebenow presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date.
