Richard Dubree Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown. Online Condolences may be left at http://www.HafemeisterFH.com.
Richard James Dubree was born on April 23, 1943 in Moberly, MO to Russel and Grace (nee Timme) Dubree. On January 21, 1986 he married Maryann Burlingham in El Paso, TX.
Dick worked as an over the road truck driver for many years delivering produce. He also owned and operated RJD Automotive in El Paso, TX. Later in life, he worked at Symbol Mattress in Watertown as a Transportation Supervisor until his retirement.
He was a member of the Watertown Outboarders, ABATE, the NRA, and the Watertown Moose Lodge. Dick enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Harley, and boating.
Richard is survived by his wife Maryann Dubree of Watertown; daughter,Julie (Jeff) Garrison of Pleasant Hill, IL; Kelly Wilson of San Antonio, TX, George Burlingham of Waterloo, WI; grandchildren:Josh (Brittany) Garrison Hardin, IL , Jacob (Hannah) Garrison Edwardsville, IL, Griffin Burlingham, JC Calvillo San Antonio,TX, Brittany (fiance Cruz) Calvillo San Antonio,TX; sister-in-law, Sandy Dubree; Nephews Gary ( Kathy) Roe Quincy,IL; Gail (Becky) Roe Moberly, MO and several other nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janice Dubree; brothers: Russel Dubree and Joe Dubree; sister, Shirley Roe.
The family would like to thank his dear friends: Ernie and Misty Witte, and Gary and Linda Anderson for being faithful friends to Richard over the years. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Marquardt Health Center and the nurses at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
