Christopher Fife Obituary
Christopher Fife
February 21, 1963 - February 8, 2025
Christopher James Fife, East Wenatchee, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was born in Wenatchee, Washington on February 21, 1963 as the youngest of four children to Kenneth and Jeannie Fife.
His early years were spent at their home on Fifth Street in Wenatchee. Their warm home became a sanctuary to many neighborhood children where they played games and goofed around outside. While in high school, Chris worked in local fruit warehouses and at Alcoa.
Chris graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1981. He continued his education at Washington State University where he had a passion for architecture, drafting, and engineering. He later finished a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Eastern Washington University in 1988.
After college, he worked for his parents who owned Dick's Towing and Repair, eventually becoming manager.
He originally met his bride, Kathy Simpson, in high school. They reconnected over a decade later and were married on March 19, 1994. They have five children: Christopher Patterson, Nicholas (Leha) Patterson, Benjamin Patterson, Tara, and Nathan (Shae).
Chris transitioned to owning the towing business in 2000, successfully managing and growing the operation. In 2008, he left to help a dear friend and worked for Columbia and Sonrise Orchards until early 2021. Later, he worked for 4K Lift Services until 2023 when he continued to take an active role in Dick's Towing and Repair until his passing.
He was a kind and passionate man who cared deeply for his family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a proclivity for games and adventures. Just like his parents, he maintained a residence where all felt welcomed. He enjoyed helping others who were undergoing hardships and was a loyal supporter in his community and church. He enjoyed church and bible study, often spending loads of time delving deep into the scriptures, and loved to sing with the choir.
Chris leaves behind his wife, Kathy; five children; his mother, Jeannie; his brothers, Alan (Althea) and Tim (Laurie); and his sister, Vicki Seabrook (Don). Chris and Kathy also enjoyed spending time with their four grandchildren: Clayton, Anthony, Max, and Natalie.
Memorial services for Chris will be held at Eastmont Baptist Church on May 9, 2025, at 3 p.m.
