Noble McAfee Obituary
Mr. McAfee passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Ozarks Healthcare.
He was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Mill Creek, Shannon County, Mo., to Homer McAfee and Cassie Norris McAfee. On March 31, 1957, he was married in Birch Tree to Evelyn Laveda Martin.
Paul retired from Smith Flooring after working for 38years; his employer has stated to the family they never met a man like him, he never asked for anything, worked every day only missing one day the entire 38 years. Mr. McAfee enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved attending church.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn McAfee, West Plains; five children Retha Evans and husband Mike, Caulfield, Mo., Steve McAfee and wife Diane, Summersville, Mo., Fred McAfee and wife Joyce, Birch Tree, Sheila Dunn, Mtn. View, Mo., and Bruce McAfee, West Plains; four grandchildren Amber Evans Carr and husband Brandon, Springfield, Mo., Kayla Moyer and husband Wade, Springfield, Jeri Stroburg, Salem, Mo., and Clayton Brown, St. Louis; two great-grandchildren Austin Moyer and Jasmine Osburn; two sisters Crystal Taber and husband Bob, Mtn. View, and Terresa Baker, Kansas City, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one brother Herb McAfee, and two sisters Goldie Vermillion and Bessie Akers preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains.
