Constance J. "Connie" Monastero

Constance "Connie" J. Monastero passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born at home in Conshohocken on October 17, 1932, she was the loving daughter to the late Alfred and Pauline DeNendo (nee Baranowski). Upon graduating Conshohocken High School, Connie went on to marry her beloved husband, Anthony C. Monastero "Toot". Together they shared 62 years of marriage before his passing in 2019. Connie was a devoted wife, and cherished mother to Loretta Monastero Brown and Anthony C. Monastero, Jr. (Joyce Brown Monastero), Mom Mom to Justin Monastero, Jillian Monastero Dyba (David) and Shannon Brown, great grandmother to Nyla Monastero and Wyatt Dyba, sister to Dorothy Hassinger and the late Florence DeNendo, and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed. We find comfort knowing she was welcomed into heaven by her husband, parents and sister. Connie was a dedicated worker, serving as a sales clerk at Sears and Ports of the World for many years, as well as, an operator at Bell Telephone Company. She often volunteered her time at Suburban Hospital. Connie was a deeply thoughtful and caring woman who has left an everlasting impressing on the hearts of all who loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to Connie's Life Celebration on Thursday March 20, 2025 from 10 am to 10:50 am with her Funeral Mass to follow at 11 am all at St. Francis of Assisi Church of Norristown, 601 Buttonwood Street. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken. Services to the family are entrusted to Boyd Horrox Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton.
