Evangelina Baldassare Obituary

Evangelina Baldassare, lovingly known as Angie, Eve, Evie, or Beeps, of Glenside, passed away on April 9, 2025. She was 44 years old. Angie was a proud graduate of Gwynedd Mercy University and a true artist at heart. Her life was a vibrant canvas painted with creativity, compassion, and conviction. Whether through photography, sketching, painting, or spontaneous bursts of invention, Angie saw and shaped the world through a deeply creative lens. Her talents were many, but her greatest masterpiece was her son, Jonathan D'Amore, who was her heart and her greatest joy. Those lucky enough to know Angie will remember her as pure fire and light. She was bold, brilliant, and fiercely funny-her dry wit was legendary. She was one of the smartest and most original souls you could ever meet, and her energy had a way of breathing life into everyone around her. Angie is survived by her cherished son, Jonathan; her loving sister, Constance Iannetta, and husband Brian; her treasured nephew, Dominic; her adored nieces, Mia, Sophia, and Luisa; and her devoted mother, Eugenia Ahern. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM following a visitation from 10:00-11:00 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 140 E. Mt. Airy Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Angie's memory to FosterStrong® (EIN 87-3069692), the nonprofit she launched with her sister. Arrangements are entrusted to Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home. (610) 630-3259. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Evangelina "Angie", please visit our floral store.
