Gordon G. Saylor

Gordon G. Saylor, 85, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Bangor, PA died Thursday, April 17, 2025, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born in Easton on October 14, 1939, a son of the late George Saylor and Florence (Ryerson) Saylor. A graduate of Easton High School, Gordon went on to join the U.S. Air Force as an Airman 2nd Class serving in Iceland. Upon returning home from Iceland, he married Kay (Mengel) Saylor. He was employed as a Senior Draftsman at Conmec Bethlehem, PA. Previously, he worked as a draftsman at Ingersoll Rand Corp, Phillipsburg, NJ He was an Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He and Kay were members of the former Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Martins Creek, PA. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter Jennae Taylor, of Virginia Beach, VA, and a son Robert Saylor and his wife Cathy, of Littlestown, PA. Sisters Brenda Weppel, Ann MacDougall, and Beverly Quaye. He is also survived by granddaughter, Jessica, wife of Carter Reed, Virginia Beach, Grandson Justin Taylor, Colorado, Granddaughter Stephanie Taylor, Brooksville, FL, Granddaughter Casey, wife of RJ Barna, Stewartstown, PA, and Grandson, Daniel Saylor, Littlestown, PA. Great Granddaughters, Avery Reed & Callie Reed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 24th at James J. Palmeri Funeral Home 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA with Rev. David Felker officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek, PA Memorial Contributions may be made in Gordon's name to the American Cancer Society.
