Helen Olufunke Oladotun Obituary

Helen Adedolapo Olufunke Oladotun was born on June 21, 1968, and was called to glory on July 24, 2025. Helen was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, and sister, who departed from this world, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love and light. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, into a Christian home, Helen's warmth and generosity knew no bounds. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, she created a life filled with love and memories that will be forever cherished by her family and friends. To her siblings, Helen was not just a sister, but a source of strength. Her grace, warmth, and unwavering support held the family together. Her compassionate heart was always ready to uplift and empower others through her words and actions. She was a natural leader, embodying strength and composure, and set an example for those around her to aspire toward success and self-improvement. Helen had many passions; she loved decorating, gardening, and fashion. Her deep love for children and education inspired her to found Dotlen Academy, a daycare and early childhood education center that she ran for almost two decades, shaping countless young lives. Above all, Helen's love for her family-particularly her beloved son Daniel Boluwatife, and her devoted husband Temitope-was boundless and unwavering. Family meant everything to her. She was deeply committed to those she loved, but most importantly, she was devoted to God. As we bid farewell to Helen Adedolapo Oladotun, we take solace in the memories of her kindness, unwavering support, and the love she shared with all who crossed her path. While her physical presence may be no more, her spirit, her lessons, and her love will remain a guiding light for all who were fortunate to know her. Sleep on in the bosom of God, Helen Adedolapo Oladotun, knowing that your legacy of love and compassion will forever be cherished and remembered by all whose lives you touched. Helen is survived by her loving parents, devoted husband, cherished son, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
