Obituary of Howard J. Heffelfinger Howard J. "Herbie" Heffelfinger, age 72, of Bridgeport, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025. He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on April 28, 1953, the son of the late Raymond O. Heffelfinger and the late Flossie (Heidler) Heffelfinger. He was the husband of the late Mary Lou (Hack) Heffelfinger. He lived most of his life in Norristown. He was a hard working truck driver for 45 years for numerous employers. He liked hot rod cars, riding his Harley, and was a talented roller skater. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend Barry Snyder. His most relaxing time was enjoying his marijuana. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Julian; two sons, Adam (Tammy) Heffelfinger of Conshohocken, PA and Anthony Heffelfinger of Royersford, PA; five sisters, Donna Heffelfinger of Harleysville, PA, Karen Wise of Punta Gorda, FL, Sharon Heffelfinger of Philadelphia, PA, Paula Heffelfinger of Philadelphia, PA and Linda Heffelfinger of Eagleville, PA; brother, Raymond Heffelfinger of Bridgeport, PA; and two brothers, David (Barbara) Eckman of Colorado Springs, CO and Charlie (Gloria) Eckman of Sellersville, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Morgan Heffelfinger, Jessica (Jacob) Watson, Julian DeLeo, Jessyca (Rhys) Weber and Jacob Bowen; as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Heffelfinger and Walter Eckman. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
