James P. Gallagher

James P. Gallagher, 71, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John J. and Anastasia A. (Gregory) Gallagher. James was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic and King's College, and spent over thirty years in sales. He was an avid Flyers and Phantoms fan. More importantly, he was a proud father and grandfather. Survivors: Daughter, Meghan Gallagher Joachin; Granddaughter, Gracie; Sister, Anne Gallagher; Sisters-in-Law, Susan Gallagher and Sharon Gallagher; Nephew, Matthew Gallagher. James was predeceased by his brothers, John and Thomas Gallagher. Services: Memorial Mass 11:15 AM Friday, August 1, 2025 at The Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, 18th & Turners Streets, Allentown. A calling hour will be held from 10:15-11:15 AM Friday in the church.
