John Krevanchi Obituary

John M. "Bips" Krevanchi, 78, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit. He was the husband of Erna (Vollman) Krevanchi, with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage. Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late John S. and Catherine (Moran) Krevanchi. Before retiring, he worked as a roofer for Roofers Local Union 30, as well as being a self-employed roofer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He will be remembered for the love he had for spending time with his grandchildren and family and fishing. Survivors: wife Erna; daughter Lisa, wife of Francisco Rosario of Allentown; brother Joseph and his wife Linda of Catasauqua; sisters Mary Quinn of Greer, SC, Theresa Russ of Fountain Hill, Jane, wife of Gery Sullivan of Bethlehem; grandchildren Brianna Jordan and Xavier Rosario. Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, August 1, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St. Allentown. Calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM. Memorials can be considered to Lehigh Valley Hospice, c/o the funeral home.
