John Lutzko Obituary

John H. Lutzko, 83, of Macungie, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and LaRue M.J. (Andrews) Lutzko. John was a graduate of Allentown High School, Class of 1959 and was a Marine Corps Veteran. He was an active member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Allentown where he served in many capacities including the church council. John was a senior account insurance agent for Allstate for more than 35 years before retiring. Survivors: Daughters, Diane Woodring and her husband, Mark, and Melissa Smith and her husband, Jim; Brothers, William J. and Richard J. Lutzko; Grandchildren, John E., Jr. and James Lutzko, Jordan Szukics, Jacob and Jarren Smith, and Nicholas Shelly; and Great-Grandchildren, Aurora, John and Madeline Lutzko. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Joelene A. (Weaver) Lutzko; Son, John E. Lutzko, Sr.; Grandson, Jason John Smith; and Brothers, Robert and Barron Lutzko. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Entombment in Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Allentown.
