Kenneth Tipsword Obituary

Kenneth D. Tipsword, 90, of Reading, passed away, Monday, January 27th, at Sinking Spring. Kenneth was born in Rolla, MO, on December 25, 1934, a son of the late Mary Bertha (Cordell) and Lesley Orville Tipsword. He was the widower of Barbara (Correll) Tipsword. She died June 26, 2018. Kenneth served in the U.S. Marines, during the Korean War. He worked as an automotive mechanic, lastly at Sam's Club. Kenneth is survived by four sons David, Sr., Michael, Edward and Forrest. Kenneth is also survived by a half brother, Samuel Tipsword He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: David Jr, Bryan, Zachary, Marissa, Cheyanne, and Tucker and 12 great grandchildren. Services and interment are private at the convenience of the family. The Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1501 North 11th St., Reading, is in charge of the arrangements. Kenneth, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow war veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
