Lula Margaret Kershner

Lula Margaret (McClennen) Kershner, 98, of Sellersville, PA; formerly of Lansdale, PA and Souderton, PA passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at The Community at Rockhill. Lula was the loving wife of the late Harvey A. Kershner. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Martin Nixon McClennen and the late Lula Margaret (Taylor) McClennen. Lula attended Roxborough High School in Philadelphia. She was employed as a bank teller for the former First Family Savings & Loan in Lansdale. Lula was a member of Immanuel Leidy's church where she sang in the choir and was involved in the Precept Bible Study group. She was an avid reader who loved to read. She would use color pencils and color pictures with scripture verses. She would date and sign them to give them away as gifts. Lula was a very loving mom and a dedicated Christian who loved the Lord. She was strong-willed and very quick witted. She was quick to smile and had a great laugh. She is survived by her son, Reid M. Kershner of Lansdale, PA and her dear friend, Sandy Nase of Harleysville, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, Lula was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Nixon McClennen; her daughter-in-law, Mary B. Fasti; and her sister-in-law, Vera McClennen. A graveside service and burial will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 9:00 am at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 10:00 am at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964.
