Adrian Patrick "A.G." Ellis

Adrian Patrick Ellis, affectionately known as "A.G.", 59, of Hartford, CT departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, June 27, 2025. Adrian was born on August 23, 1965, in Hartford, CT, to Carnetta (Grant) Ellis and the late Henry Ellis. Adrian obtained his High School Diploma from CREC Vocational High School on June 15, 1984. Adrian had a deep love for cooking and working with his hands, which led him to pursue a variety of roles throughout his life. He was a kind person and was known for his warm spirit. Adrian worked as a chef and later as a security guard before finding his passion for landscaping. Most recently, he was employed by a local businessman, where he took great pride in his work. Outside of his professional life, Adrian was an avid basketball fan who enjoyed the game both as a spectator and as a player. Adrian will be fondly remembered for his dedication, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jordan Ellis of Hartford, CT; his daughter, Shamika-White Santana (Manny) of Middletown; two grandchildren, Syrenedy and Jaden Santana; mother, Carnetta Grant Ellis of Hartford; sister, Stacy Marley of Windsor, CT.; aunts: Holland Daunais and Joyal of Tennessee; uncle, Leroy Grant of Hartford, CT; nephew, Bobby (Neomarie) Womack of Waterbury, CT; two nieces, Alena Robinson and Alaneh Robinson; cousin, Dyrell Toler (Elaine) of Maryland and a host of other relatives and friends.
