Heidi Katz Obituary
Heidi G. (Miller) Katz, 58, of Hartford, a vibrant soul whose passion for life illuminated the hearts of all who knew her, passed away peacefully next to her husband, Stuart, on Friday, February 21, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1966, in New Britain, one of four children to the late Allyn R. Miller, Sr. and Diane M. Richardson.
Heidi lived each day to its fullest with a brilliant smile, infectious enthusiasm and unwavering love for those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, whose greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family. Her laughter echoed throughout family gatherings, and her warm hugs provided comfort and solace to all those nearby. A true beach lover, Heidi found joy in the sun, sand, and waves. She felt a great amount of joy in her frequent trips for business and pleasure to Arizona, and Florida, spending time with friends, family, and colleagues in a variety of different ways. Heidi took great pride in her role as Regional Property Manager at Atlantic Development where she worked for 18 years. She was respected by her peers for her expertise, but it was her dedication to, and compassion for, each team member that earned their friendship. Heidi spent many weekends enjoying the things she loved such as attending UConn sporting events, reading, and planning her next travel adventure.
In addition to her husband, Stuart Katz, she is survived by her son, Ryan Janty and his girlfriend Mary Kate DeForge of Quincy, MA; her granddaughter, Isabella Rose Janty-Villot; her two brothers, Allyn Miller, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Voluntown, and Van Miller of Salem; her sister, Tonia Adams and her husband Edward of Canterbury; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Heidi was predeceased by her parents, as well as her beloved daughter, Corrina D. Janty.
