Jerome E. Garrity

Jerome Garrity of Branford passed away on April 22, 2025 at the Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the beloved husband for 73 years of the late Mildred Shemeth Garrity. Jerome was born in Branford on July 8, 1928, son of the late Edward and Anna Garrity. He graduated from the Yale School of Engineering with a BS degree in 1950. An international career followed including residence for many years in Germany, Spain and China (Hong Kong). He retired in 1990 from Major Markets, Ltd., a worldwide marketing and consulting venture of which he was a founding partner. He leaves two daughters, Maura Garrity and Aidan Zoubek as well as two grandchildren, Bradley Horion and Karl Zoubek, and a great granddaughter Ele Horion. He was predeceased by his daughter Bridget Horion. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. In honor of his memory, donations may be sent to the Tunnel2Towers Foundation.
