Joseph Lynch Obituary

Obituary of Joseph Patrick Lynch Joseph Patrick Lynch, Sr., 82, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Hartford Hospital, with his loving family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 24, 1943 in Hartford, to the late Francis Joseph and Rose (Rohan) Lynch. Joseph grew up in East Hartford before moving to Glastonbury. He was a carpenter by trade who enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was an avid golfer, big fan of the Boston Red Sox, and both the Men and Women UConn Basketball Teams. He also loved Jeopardy and The Price is Right, and couldn't be disturbed during those programs. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Patricia Cubberly, his son Joseph Lynch, Jr., his grandchildren Mason, Logan, and Evan, his former wife Carole Earle, all of Glastonbury, and his sister Jane Zajicek and her husband, Don, of Pompano Beach, FL. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. Besides his parents Joseph was predeceased by his sister, Frances Abetz, and her husband William. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111 or a charity of the donor's choice.
