Kyle Quatacker Obituary

Kyle Quatacker, 34, of Chicopee, MA passed away peacefully on June 20th. Born on February 8th, 1991, in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Ken, Japan. Kyle was a beloved brother, friend and Father; he was a kind soul whose presence would light up any room that he walked into. Kyle was the son of Glenn and Tammy Quatacker and grew up in South Hadley, MA. He graduated from South Hadley High School and pursued a career as a carpenter in the Carpenters Local 336 Union (nee, Local 108). While in high school, Kyle was a star football player and was inducted into the Western Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. Kyle loved woodworking, was an avid collector and shared his love for comics and video games with his friends but especially his daughter. Kyle is survived by his brothers Raymond (41), Garrett (33), sister Chloe (31), his aunt Tina Rideout and cousins Wyatt and Joshua Rideout. He also is survived by his 7-year-old daughter, Lilliana, who would best describe him as, "a really good daddy". A celebration-of-life will be held at O'Brien Family Funeral Home (33 Lamb St South Hadley, MA) on June 27th at 10:00am. Call hours will be from 10-12 followed immediately by a burial service at Notre Dame Cemetery, where he will be buried with his mother. Kyle's warmth and laughter will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew him.
