Robert Butler Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Benjamin Butler, affectionately known as Rob or Bobby, who left us far too soon. Rob passed away on February 2nd, 2025, at the age of 44. He was born to Jude Napierkowski and the late Bonnie Butler Ricci, and remembered fondly by stepmother Rita Napierkowski and stepfather Dave Ricci. In addition to Jude, Rita, and Dave, he is survived by siblings Matthew Napierkowski, Stephanie Napierkowski, Brendan Ricci (Cassandra), Steven Ricci (April), and his niece, Isabella Ricci. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Valerie Butler, his step-grandfather, Patrick Ricci, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish his memory. In addition to his mother, Rob was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Napierkowski and grandmother Anastasia Napierkowski. Rob had a passion for sports while growing up, especially football and soccer. He also enjoyed the beach, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. Rob's kind heart will be missed dearly, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Rob. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Columbus House of New Haven in his memory, an organization which helped Rob greatly. www.columbushouse.org Mass will be held for friends and family at Most Holy Trinity Church at 11am on February 21st (84 North Colony Street, Wallingford, CT, 06492). I have so many fond memories of Rob. We met when I was in high school. He was two years older than I. We quickly became friends and remained in touch all these years. Which is a testament of his character. Such a good soul. He quickly became a part of my family as well and we will always consider him part of the family. He came on vacations with us and vice versa. I was so close with his family as well. And I´m so glad to be able to say that.
There are so many nice things I could say about Rob. We have so many memories that I will cherish always
He was a kind soul. He was so generous fun and wicked smart,
He enjoyed life. staying busy , very hard working, always doing something and always willing to lend a hand to somebody, whether it be a family, friend or a stranger. He was an all-around great guy and everybody who knew Rob, loved him .
I can´t forget the time that my dad took sick and I don´t know what would´ve happened if I weren´t there. He helped to save my father´s . God`s plan. Rob took care of those he loved. That´s for certain. He helped out wherever he could . He gladly took my mom to work very early mornings on many occasions, as he knew it was easier than parking there in the garage.
Rob, everyone who got to know you was a very lucky and I was lucky to have you as a part of my life for as long as I did, you will be sorely missed
Love always Elizabeth Roxanne
You are now with the angels in heaven at peace . We love you,
