Stanley Moore Obituary

Stanley Moore, of Branford, Connecticut and Naples, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Naples, surrounded by his loving wife and sons. He was 76 years old. Stanley was the devoted husband of Diane Fusco Moore and the proud father of Bryan Moore and Tyler Moore. He was also the adoring grandfather of Nashlyn, who brought him immense joy. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, on February 20, 1949, Stanley grew up in North Haven and spent much of his life on the Branford shoreline, a place that held a special place in his heart. He especially enjoyed boating on Long Island Sound, fishing, and sharing stories and laughter with family, cousins, and lifelong friends. He was a member of the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club where he was an avid golfer and boater. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Quinnipiac University and devoted his professional career to Southern New England Telephone (SNET), later AT&T. Throughout his tenure, Stanley held various leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, Major Accounts, and Management. He was consistently recognized as a top performer and award recipient, known for his commitment, strategic thinking, and ability to connect with people on a personal level. Stanley was well-loved and highly respected by colleagues and clients alike. He had a natural gift for geniality-his friendly, approachable nature endeared him to everyone he met. He thrived in helping others, always eager to solve problems and lend a hand. If asked to describe qualities of Stanley, "loyal", "kind", and "witty" would be among the first spoken. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Laura Moore (Dymarczyk), his brother William Moore, and his niece Darlene Rawling. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Diane Fusco Moore; his sons, Bryan (Nicole Cucarro) and Tyler; his cherished granddaughter Nashlyn; his sister Valerie Rawling; his in-laws William and Margie Fusco; his niece Valerie Pierpont (Ed); nephews Nicholas Fusco and Christopher Fusco, and many cherished cousins and lifelong friends. A Catholic Mass celebrating Stanley's life will be held on Thursday, June 19, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church of St. John Bosco Parish in Branford, 731 Main Street, Branford. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the NCH (Naples Community Hospital) Research Fund at https://nchmd.org/philanthropy/donate-today/. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and entire staff at Naples Community Hospital (NCH) Downtown Baker Hospital, and to all who offered care and support to Stanley during his final days. His warmth, strength, and deep appreciation for family and tradition defined him, leaving a lasting legacy in the lives of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Stanley, please visit our floral store.
