Thomas Becker Obituary
Tom grew up in Bronx, NY and was a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He served his country as a lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1970. He met and married the love of his life Jazy, and they settled in South Windsor, CT. He worked as a Software systems engineer his whole career, first with IBM and later working for The Hartford Insurance Group. He retired in 2013.
Tom enjoyed astronomy, playing bridge, hiking, traveling, and later in life, attending events and making friends at the South Windsor Senior Center.
He leaves his two sons, Brian Becker and Eric Becker, two grandchildren, Camden, and Natalie Becker; two sisters, Elisa Busque, and Maureen Curtin (Jim) and friend and companion, June Eccher.
Calling hours will be held at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. For online condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com

Dear Brian and Eric,
From Mr. Hart, Sherry and I were so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing so soon after your Mom's.
We miss you two young men, especially Eric, who as a young teenager, sold us a nifty vacuum cleaner. We used it for years in our basement.
