Victor Arguello Tomala Obituary

WATERBURY, CT Victor Hugo Arguello Tomala "Loving father, grandfather & brother" Victor Hugo Arguello Tomala, 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Victor was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on May 10, 1938, a son of the late Jacinto and Juana Rosa (Tomala) Arguello. He immigrated to the United States in the early 1960's, settling first in New York and finally settling in Waterbury. Victor worked for Quality Rolling and Deburring Company, Inc. in Thomaston for over fifteen years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer and also enjoyed boxing. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. He leaves to mourn his five children, Omar Arguello and his wife, Andreanna, Bolivar Arguello and his fiance, Iris Resto with whom he lived with, Mariella Arguello, Jerry Arguello and Juanita Jackson and his seven loving grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings, Olga Janet Velasquez, Otto Arguello, Nancy Martin, Jimmy E. Arguello and Guido Arguello. He was predeceased by Walter Arguello. Arrangements: A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A calling hour for Victor will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Chase Parkway Memorial
