Sandra Prather Obituary

Sandra Prather, 75 of Rushville passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 23, 1950, in Rushville, the daughter of the late Harley Parsano Jr. and Mildred Pauline Bowman. She married Richard (Rick) Prather on June 16, 1968, in Schuyler County. She is survived by her husband, Rick (2) sons, Nick Prather (Missy) of Springfield, IL and Brett Prather of Beardstown, IL; (1) brother-in-Law, Larry Trone; (3) sisters, Sharon Gossage, Sally Toland (Jim) and Rissa Parsano; (8) grandchildren, Casey Prather, Cole Prather, Connor Prather, Tyler Prather, Lyric Wingerter (Ben), Jack Prather, Jayden Prather, and Kope Prather; (3) great grandchildren and numerus nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by (1) sister, Sue Trone; and (1) brother-in-law Stan Gossage. Sandra enjoyed reading, harness racing, and spending time with her family. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2026, at Palm Cemetery in Rushville with Ms. Debbie Hester officiating. Memorials may be given to St. Judes.
