After raising their 5 children and spending many summers creating wonderful memories for their children at the Lake of the Ozarks-always referred to as "The Lake," Dale and Charlotte loved to travel. They spent winter months at several different spots in Florida enjoying the sunshine and warmth and having their children and grandchildren join them whenever they were able.

They helped create 100's of floral arrangements for the gift shop. In her later life she helped at Church doing whatever was needed or asked of her. At home, she became a master jigsaw puzzle solver and so enjoyed doing them.
