Michael Bosse Obituary

Michael Fred Bosse was born on September 7, 1957 to Irene and Ralph Bosse in Lynwood California. He passed on March 28, 2021, doing what he loved best, camping in the desert (Hesperia). "Mike" was educated both in California and in Greensburg, Indiana. At the time of his death, he was a property manager and handyman, living in the house where he grew up in Cudahy, CA.

Mike met his wife Erma Jean Bethel at Lucky's market in Bell, CA in 1993. He was a licensed realtor and Erma was selling a property through another realtor and looking for another property to buy. So, of course, Mike took the opportunity to help her in her search. Mike proposed to Erma Jean in a very unique way…in a Christmas card with this note: "Dearest Erma Jean, You are the most beautiful, loving, caring, kind, forgiving person I know. Though I have not said the words, you are the "Love of my life" I will be honored and proud if you'll be my wife." I do love you, Mike. They were married in 1998, and Erma became part of the family immediately and Ralph (Mike's dad) thought the world of her.

Although, Mike and Erma did not have children, they both cherished their cats and chickens. In addition to his pampered 4 legged children, Mike had a passion and talent for growing roses. He was a master at working with his hands, an avid learner, and could fix anything. He loved being outdoors whether camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, shooting guns and having camp fires whether in a fire pit, washing machine or baking pan. He was an avid reader and always was trying new things with the help of you tube…he could create wooden airplanes, fire starters, Christmas ornaments and was quite a carpenter taking after his Great Grandpa Stark, from making ramps for the chickens in the garage to the rafters or making tables and cat window boxes.

Mike will be sorely missed by his wife Erma Jean, sister Linda Lewis Luth (Eddie), brother Ralph Bosse (Patti), and his nephews Gary Lewis and Robert (Tina) and Great Nephew Nick Bosse, along with brother and sister-in law Robert and Linda Bethel. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Irene (Ancell) Bosse, Grandparents Ella and Fred Bosse and Charles and Faye Ancell. Mike is now with all those that have preceded him especially his bosom buddy and cousin Bill Ancell who passed in 2001. Mike is well remembered by Aunt June (Ancell) and Sonny Wiewel, Uncle Ronnie (Popeye) who passed 9/3/2021 and Sue Ancell and Aunt Janice (Ancell) Walton. The last "large" family reunion Mike attended was in 2006 and Patrick Stark (cousin) did a family tree on the wall of the event shelter starting with our Great Grandma and Grandpa Stark. So to all of our cousins and their families and all that knew and loved Mike, we thank you for your prayers, cards and look forward to the joy when we will all be together again.

Sending blessings to Mike´s family and friends. I went to school with Mike in Greensburg. He was a joy to be around. We got reacquainted on FB. Our last conversation was politics, we didn´t agree, but we were nice to each other. RIP Mike
