Dr. William Darwin Wright died at his home in Tucson, Arizona on November 10, 2021. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on April 27, 1927 to William T. and Gladys A. Wright.
After graduating from St. Louis University, he went on to practice dentistry in Camp Point, Illinois for 45 years. He was a member of the T. L. Gilmer Dental Society, served as President of the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry, was a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry International. He was actively involved in his community, serving on many committees and boards and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, and brother Robert.
Surviving are his wife Maureen, sons David (Lynn), Richard (Ann), stepsons Philip (Lori), Dale, grandchildren, Laura (Chase), Andrew, Graham, Angela, Carolyn (Matthew), sister-in-law Patsy, nephews Ronald and Robert.
