Charles E. Pizzelli

1937 - 2021

Charles Enzo Pizzelli of Franklin, passed peacefully on August 10, 2021, at the age of 84. Charlie will be remembered as a loving, and dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Employer, and all-around GOOD GUY. Born in Malden Ma, in 1937, and raised in Somerville Ma, he was the eldest son of Enzo Angelo Pizzelli and Rose Marie Lettieri Pizzelli. A Franklin resident for nearly 60 years, Charlie served on the Franklin Chargers ways of means committee and coached for several years. He was a past member of The Franklin Rod & Gun club. He was an owner and President of SAI, a marketing incentives company based in Waltham Ma for over 40 years and his company was recognized as one of the leaders in the industry. Charlie had a great sense of humor, and he was a teller of perfectly timed jokes, as well as real and fantastical stories. His interests included hunting, fishing, biking, training, weightlifting, gardening, music, and sailing. Most of all SAILING! He LOVED to sail. Sailing was his passion. Charles is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Virginia May Ruggieri Pizzelli, his two sons: Charles R. Pizzelli, and David A Pizzelli. Charles is also survived by his Grandsons: Charles Anthony Pizzelli, and Dominic Daniel Pizzelli, and two step Grandsons Patrick Feehily and Jake Feehily. He is also survived by his three siblings: Robert Pizzelli, Jean Pizzelli Ruggieri, Jane Pizzelli Quinney, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Saturday August 14th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-10:30AM. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 11AM.
