Kevin W. Payton

Kevin W. Payton, 63 of Medway and formerly of Natick died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. He was the beloved husband of Elaine T. (Davis) Payton sharing 43 years of marriage. A resident of Medway for 35 years he was born in Natick the son of Marilyn (Ehle) Payton of Natick and the late Robert D Payton. Mr. Payton was a Sales Manager for the F.W.Webb Company of Auburn and Bellingham. He enjoyed golf and was a member of New England Country Club in Bellingham, was a member of the Hopkinton Rod and Gun Club and was among the founding members of the Medway Gutter Balls Association. Music was a passion of Kevins playing bass guitar with several area groups; Five Past Forty, Rich and the Big Guy, and Bigalow Station. Kevin loved to laugh and was well known for his very quick wit and sense of humor, which he readily shared with his family and friends. Mr. Payton attended the Natick School system and graduated from Natick High School class of 1970. In addition to his wife and mother he survived by one son Derek D Payton and his wife Meaghan (Carr) Payton of Greenfield, three brothers Robert Payton and his wife Susan of Whitinsville, Terry Payton and his wife Pam of Natick, Jerry Payton and his wife Lee of Natick, one sister Barbara Norman and her husband Wayne of CT, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday January 15, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common follow by Burial in Glenwood Cemetery South Natick.
