Michael Brems Obituary

Michael P. Brems, age 83, of Braintree passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. Michael was a member of Teamsters Union Local #829 and retired from the Stop & Shop Distribution Center in Readville. He served in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps in Alaska during the Korean War. He enjoyed camping and woodworking, making things for his grandchildren. Beloved husband of the late Jean L. (Cody); he was the devoted father of Michael J. Brems and his wife Janet of Kingston, Cheryl Greene and her husband Ken of Plymouth and Elizabeth Inglis and her husband William of Kingston. Brother of Alice C. Patriquin, Katherine J. Shannon, James L. Brems, Philip Brems, Elizabeth Bruce and Joseph F. Brems. Loving grandfather of Terry and his wife Emily Brems, Jeff and his wife Corinne Brems, Andy Brems, Daniel Greene and his wife Kathy, Joanna Greene and Holly and Heidi Inglis. Loving great-grandfather of Nathan Greene and Marissa, Kevin and Brian Brems. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth at 809 Main St., (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.), Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Saint Clares Church, Braintree at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4- 8 p.m. Interment, Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
