Christopher Pinkham

Christopher Choate Pinkham, 82, died peacefully at his home in Mirror Lake, N.H. on 5/13/13. Born in Lynn on 12/29/1930, he was the great grandson of Lydia E. Pinkham, founder of the Lydia E. Pinkham Medicine Co.. Mr. Pinkham grew up in Swampscott and Marblehead. He was a longtime resident of Boxford and Wheaton, Illinois before moving to Brookfield, N.H., where he eventually retired. Mr. Pinkham attended Phillips Academy in Andover and graduated from Brown University in Providence, R.I.. He enjoyed a career in the paper industry of over 40 years. Mr. Pinkham was proceeded in death by his parents, Daniel R. Pinkham and Olive W. Pinkham, brothers Daniel R. Pinkham Jr. and William W. Pinkham. Mr. Pinkham is survived by his wife, Marilyn B. Pinkham of Mirror Lake, N.H., children, Christopher C. Pinkham Jr. of Hillsborough, N.H., Scott B. Pinkham of St. Charles, MO, Melinda P. Polatsek of Fairview, TN, and Lawrence W. Pinkham of Rochester Hills, MI, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service was held at the Wakefield Congregational Church, Wakefield, N.H. on 6/1/13.
