Madeline M. Andrews

Madeline M. Andrews, 90, January 23, 2018, of Wenham, beloved wife of the late George E. Andrews. Daughter of Paul Monahan from Waltham MA and Molly Hargadon Monahan born in Sligo Ireland. Graduate of State Teachers College Framingham, 1948 with honors earning her Masters Degree in Education. She began her teaching career in Greenwich CT and went on to teach at the Bright and Douglas MacArthur Schools, Waltham until her retirement. Throughout her teaching career Madeline received many awards for outstanding achievement and dedication. An avid gardener, Madeline enjoyed creating floral arrangements for special events as member of the Hamilton Wenham Garden Club. Mother of Jane and her husband Dr. Christopher Cullinan, DMD of Boxford MA, Nancy and her husband Roy Reposa of Naples FL, Edward M. Andrews and his fianc Yvette Kamayou of Fitchburg MA, Paul B. Andrews and his wife Stephanie of Norfolk MA. She is survived by her brother Richard J. Monahan Esq. of Waltham and her sister Claire Lilly of Hermitage TN along with her treasured 7 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins . She was predeceased by two brothers Paul and Frank Monahan and her sister Betty Marden. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, 12 Park Street, Topsfield, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment in the Iron Rail Cemetery, Wenham. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 26th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly.
