Dear Fran, David, Tyler, Lee, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. John had the sweetest, most gentle soul; my heart broke watching it get bruised by the world. He will always be in my heart, a truly cherished friend, with hopes that he is at rest in peace, finally. May you all find peace as well, with time, and know that he left his mark in countless positive ways on so many people's lives - he'd be startled to know how many, I think.

Dearest Fran, David, Tyler and Lee,
My heart was broken when I received the phone call telling me of John's passing. I became a part of the Sargent household back in 1992 and have stayed in touch with John over the years. We talked about everything, especially his dream of having his own business. John was a sensitive, talented and caring young man with a great sense of humor. My deepest condolences on your loss and may you find strength in each other during this most difficult time.
With love,
Joanna

Dear Mr and Mrs Sargent, Lee and Tyler,
It was with so much sadness that I learned of John's passing. I too was his babysitter when he was tiny and was so enamoured with him. I have thought of him over the years as he was such a sweet little boy. I am grateful that he touched my life.
With my deepest condolences and warm wishes to you all.

Mr. and Mrs. Sargent, Tyler and Lee,
I was so saddened to hear of John's passing away. I have fond and long ago memories of babysitting for John and the twins in the old Whitcomb Ave neighborhood. What a sweet baby boy!
I wish you and your families peace.
