Dyan, My son Jonathan knew your Jonathan through Salem Little League and Babe Ruth. When I think back I can vividly remember how proud and full of love you were for both your children. Jonathan was a nice kid, I have fond memories of him. His passing affected me deeply and I just want you to know I have thought of you and your family daily. I pray you will find strength to get through this. Remember and focus on all the good your son was. Peace be with you.

To the Johnathan Walsh family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Although I did not know Johnathan well, he was my daughters friend from Salem High School. My daughter is absolutely devastated with his passing. She told me how she got together this summer with
Johnathan a few times with their friends to "catch up" and just have fun. As a matter of fact Christina went to the prom with Johnathan and it was on prom night I had the pleasure of meeting him.
Christina attended a vigil ceremony in Jonathan's memory the other night at Salem Willows, she said all that attended were devastated.
Jonathan had many good friends and will be sadly missed.
Again my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one.

To Steve, Dyan, Nick and Jon's extended family, Andy an I have wonderful memories of Jon especially during the 2004 Salem Little League Championship Giants. Andy described him as a talented ball player,a leader,great teammate and friend. From the Salem Evening News: "Everybody on the team contributed, but we had three outstanding players in Cavanaugh, Brea and (catcher) Jonathan Walsh," said O'Keefe. "They led the way all season long." Jonathan will always be a champion in our hearts.

I went to The National Personal Training Institute with Jon. His dream was to be a trainer on a cruise ship. He would have been amazing at it. He spoke of his brother often and really admired and was proud of him. The worlds a lesser.place because hes gone...

I was in such disbelief when I heard. He was a beautiful child ( and I have his baby picture to prove it! ) and a beautiful human being. I love you both and wish you some sort peace during this time.
