Frederick John "Ted" Erickson, 87, of Hanover passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017. Ted was born in Waltham, January 16, 1930. A graduate of Waltham High School, he join the Navy and was an electrician at the Submarine Base in New London, CT. Later he was employed as an accounting manager at New England Telephone, working in Boston and Quincy. Ted was and avid golfer and gardener, a sports enthusiast, enjoyed cruising and wintering in Fort Myers, Fla., for 25 years after retiring in 1990. Ted leaves his wife of 64 years, Patricia (Callaghan) Erickson, their daughter, Donna Fraser and her husband James R. Fraser. A grandson, James F. Fraser and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53, in Hanover, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
